Aside from that being a tractor top link, that's literally what every diesel bro does. The use long ass "traction" bars that don't have a shackle on the frame side. Who would ever think it was a good idea to put a solid link in a leaf spring setup?

I tried to do that to put a roller axle under a chassis I was dragging to my barn... The wood didn't make it across the yard. Can't imagine how it held up on something powering itself.

needs a sleeve for the bolt and a hose clamp around it..
