Where to ride in winter?

So now that uwharrie is closed I would like to find a place my wife and I can ride that is a reasonable drive from winston (within a couple hours)

Prefer mild trails. We both like to trail ride but she doesn't like the off camber stuff.
 
And we are both riding stock grizzly 660's
 
Brown mountain closes on the 3rd I thought

Never heard of brushy but a quick search shows they are only open on weekends and that's a no go for me.

Will have to look up the spot in yadkinville
 
Brushy is open Thursday thru Sunday if you pay for a year pass ($250)

Aaa is several acres that are open to ride for a "donation" ($10)
 
I think doe mtn. Is open year round. It's in Mountain city, maybe a little further drive than you are looking for. It's a nice place.
