I thought it may be interesting to see what crawl ratios people are running.

Currently mine is at 74.76

AX15: 3.83
NP241: 4.00
Axle: 4.88

82.28

Nv3550 4.01
Nv241or 4.0
Axle 5.13

Not low enough, eventually going to a sm420 or an atlas 2 5.0

My old samurai was 105 on 35s. It was nice.

Trans: 3.652
Tcase: 4.9
Axle: 5.89

Usually 18:3.
More than 18 beers in less than 3 hours usually equals crawling for me.
If I was younger and it dustier...then those numbers could double or more...

My Samurai was 88.5

Trans = 3.652
TC = 6.5
Axles = 3.73

The YJ I have will be 101.7

AX15 = 3.83
Atlas 4spd = 5.44
Axles = 4.88

My last Jeep was not much to brag about for crawl ratio.
4l80 - 2.48
Np205 - 1.96:1
Axles - 5.38
Around 26:1

Latest Jeep
Np435 - 6.69
Np205 - 1.96
Axles - 3.73
Around 49:1 *with 4.88 gearing upgrade I'll be 64:1

Horsepower is way more fun anyways.

W56 - 3.954
Box - 2.23
Case - 2.23
Axles - 5.29

Low -46.6
Double low - 104.0

Stock 22re and 42's it does pretty good. With 39's it would crawl up a pretty serious obstacle on the starter in X2 low

M50-D1 3.72
BW1354 2.43
Doubler 2.43
Axle 4.56

100.1

I have no idea if I did this right
32 inch tires
Aw4= 2.80
Np242= 2.72
Gear= 3.55
27.04?

= 31.4

99 Silverado
NV3500 - 4.02
NP241C - 2.72

= 44.83

CUCV
NV4500 - 5.61

With the Cummins idling, it's at a pretty slow crawl though!

6.68:1 np435
1.96:1 np203 air shifted doubler
1.96:1 np205 twin sticked
5.13:1 axles

I rarely use the doubler, I always use the 205 in rwd low off road and shift the front in and out as needed. If I'm just playing around I'll use the double low like in lower rock garden or something. I basically did the doubler to get a longer front driveshaft so the driveline angles would be better and I had all the parts laying around.
