What have you done to your rig today?

Well this happened while I was trying to get the yoke off. Good thing im pulling the internals from this case to put in another. Time to buy a torch.

A little jb weld will fix that right up.....

Rerouted the new stereo wires and zip tied them in place. Then I pulled both driveshafts out to start the process. Next up is pulling the rear four link and drivetrain.

Dude. What did you use to try and pull it off? A jackhammer?

Also looks like PO tried to weld it shut once before...

replace the right front caliper after it decided to self-destruct in five oclock Friday traffic near RDU on the way to OBX two weeks ago. This after the left front caliper did the same thing in Atlanta traffic on Thursday at 5 on the way to Morris Mountain

Thought I had 1 busted rear shock. Turns out both were busted. Replaced them and did some trimming on the coil bucket to keep them from kissing each other. Passenger side had hit the coil bucket hard enough to bend the bucket. Found out why my parking brake wasnt holding. Wire had come off the guide. Adjusted them and repositioned wire. Replaced front shocks while I was at it.

My Jeep has lived over at my sons garage this past week. Getting some much needed maintenance and repair.
What has happened this past week, in no particular order:
New temp gauge.
New water pump
New antifreeze
New V-Belts (actually, put one of the old ones back on. after three trips to get the right one, and it still didn't fit, we put it back on so we could move on)
New thermostat
New radiator hoses
New Heater hoses
New panel switches. (replaced all of them with water proof ones_
One new 30 amp relay
Replaced fuel pump, fuel hoses, and filters. Before I could get it loaded yesterday, the new fuel pump took a dump, so, the old one went back on (Will be getting another pump, and just keep it as a spare)
New winch rope (Old one broke on last trip)
Rotated my tires left to right, to get the sharper edges back
New high flow regulator for my Co2 tank
New rear brake pads. (had to use one of the half worn ones on passenger side, not enough clearance for the new pad thickness)
Fixed a trans line from leaking
Greased all of the joints on links
Welded on new tabs for my front rock lights. Lost the mounts when I replaced the front fenders
As was posted earlier, installed some louvers on my hood.

Big Thanks to @Jason W. and @josh$$ for all their hard work in helping me get all this done.
It was really nice to work in an shop with AC this past week!

Hope you had a Jack stand somewhere?! Bottle jack looks like it's on the edge.

Hard for an ogre to hide :D

Words hurt. :(

Tire Log, Sixth Month, Day Seven, in the 3rd year of Trump.

Day 1 of new tires. I went to Boone, it's been raining a lot. I tried to park below my dad's shop then pulled forward. Turns out these tires spin real good in mud, but they also self-clean real well on asphalt too.

Not my proudest moment, but I needed to get my exhaust hung and aim it to the ground as cheaply and quickly as possible.
I’m considering the entire exhaust system as temporary right now.

Most of the exhaust on my xj is attached in similar fashion. It lasts as long as fixing it correctly on the trails, and way quicker to do........

Tired of wiring gremlins, so I placed an order for a painless harness. And will begin week after next...

Also all new fuses/relays/waterproof connectors/heat shrink/wire loom/colored elect tape/

Question????????
What else odds and ends do u think I’ll need..

Thanks in advance
