what beer are you drinking?

Westbrook Dark Helmet Is a good dark lager. Westbrook Two Claw is a rye IPA and Three Claw is a Imperial Rye IPA. Give them a try if you like those styles.
 
The rye beers are ok, I'm pretty partial to Stouts, Porters and just recently Sours. I tend not to drink the IPAs, high IBU's dont agree with me.

I can understand that. Ever had Holy City Pluff Mudd Porter? Or Palmetto Porter? Both decent Porters from Charleston. Wetsbook also does a Mexican Cake Stout that is pretty good too. It's only brewed once a year though I believe.
 
Pluff mud is a go to when I dont see anything new to try, or left handed Milkstout. Mexican cake is Great! Mexicali stout I like also.

Are you on the untapped app? My sister's boyfriend got me started, it has "made" me try more beers and discover more about what I like and dont.

I typically go for IPAs, Double IPAs etc. I like the hoppiness of the beer. I'm also a big fan of porters/stouts etc. About the only beer I won't drink is sour beer. I can usually have one but then my stomach gets upset.

Westbrook Matt’s Sweet Potato Casserole Milkshake IPA. At Random Tap in Elgin. Different but good. Don’t think I can drink more than one though.

This weekend was all New Belgium 1554. If you know Alt Bier from Germany, that's what this is. A good old fashioned dark ale.

I get tired of IPAs around here....
 
Belgium has some of the best beirs.

Had a Big Bad Baptist last night. Enjoyed it very much. 12% ABV but not real booze flavored like some that are that high. You know it's there though.

Belgium spoiled me more than Bavaria for bier. New Belgium brewery has a pretty good trippel. You can also get Duvel and Chimay blue here in the US. But the prices are crazy.

Co worker brought in some cold Mt from 2015 and 2016! Been in the "cellar" for 3 and 4 years.

Was a little apprehensive on it but....... .

Side by side with the 2019, hands down the 2015 wins. Probably try the 2016 T-Day with BIL.

Wow, that is a robust beer! I love a beer that doesn't skunk out after the first full moon...
