Need to purchase PDQ!

The overwhelming majority of my searches have turned up 14ga. boxes with 12ga. lids. Noy wanting to do this over and wishing to weld the box underneath the steel bed, I've found one that claims to be all 12ga. (haven't confirmed).

2 questions:
1) Any brands that stand out above the other (zillion shitty toolboxes) and are a bit heavier (12ga.) than the rest?
2) Is 15-20% more $$ worth it for 12ga. over 14ga.??

The Delta Jobox ones that AgriSupply sells seemed pretty decent. I never pulled the trigger on one because I'm cheap. But they were a lot sturdier than the others I looked at.

From what I've seen, they're all intended to be supported from below, so you'll have to build some outriggers out of angle to hold it up.

I just remembered that @Will Carter had a couple of nice used ones for sale a while back. He might still.

I have a Buyers behind the seat of the LJ. I stand on it to put the top on, seams plenty sturdy. Its a turn style latch, works well and has for years, but it's not out in the weather either...
