Quick trip down to Panama City, Panama this week. It was 85 and 101% humidity.

Sheesh...I can't imagine what it's like to go from instant sweat leaving the AC only to come home to cold that'll make your nipples cut holes in your shirt

Does that ever effect your sinuses?

When I traveled for a living the climate change was worse than the time change for me. Everyone in the military especially the Army knows that the training is always in a different season than you want it to be. IE.....arctic in the winter and desert in the summer. Worse temp change in a 24 hour period that I can remember is 80* in SoCal to -52* in Fort Greely Alaska. Damn now I remember why I left the best/worst job of my life!

Should have just come down to Polk. Shot weather 24/7/365!

Switching between AC and heat messes with me some, but it’s mostly the dehydration and lack of sleep that screws me up. Free alcohol doesn’t help lol.

Conference in San Antonio this week...at 6'6" I appreciated the extra leg room both ways!!

Whatever the next installment of the Matrix movies is is being filmed outside my hotel in San Francisco.
Just hoping the chance of snow doesn’t mess with my return flight tomorrow.

It’s 1:30am and I gotta catch a cab at 4am, so I’m going to drink this mini bar whiskey and post pictures of my short time in Istanbul, Turkey.

Third and final flight, LHR to IST on a Turkish A321.

A solid beer choice to go with you raw ground meat lettuce tacos, eggplant yogurt, and lamb skewers.

I also ate a solid grilled octopus leg (surprisingly delicious) and a smoked eggplant puree that had enough garlic in it to kill the coronavirus dead instantly.

I found the people of Turkey to be very friendly. It also seems that every single Turkish citizen owns a carpet/lamp/spice shop and being seemingly the only American in the whole city, I found myself presented with a number of generous offers.

Conclusion: If you’re into religious history, this is a great city to visit. If you want to go on vacation, go elsewhere.

Headed down to Charleston Sunday for nearly a week. First overnighter for the company. Guess it comes with being in erection management (for steel you pervs). Should be a good trip. Go see what's screwed up, fix it, then wine and dine the customer. Jobsite is right on the beach from my understanding. Plus side is my manager I'm going with is an ol friend and we work a lot alike. Start at 5 am and be done by 3.

I feel like I might have the qualifications for an ‘erection manager’. :smokin:

Yeah, I know. I couldn’t resist. Sounds like a fun trip. Just remember...

I figured somebody would lol. It took a year for me not to chuckle every time we had to discuss erection drawings, erection crews, erection aids...

Oddly enough, I'm in Beaufort, SC...until April 2nd. Didn't have a choice in this one. Filling in for one of their machinists that's out with an injury. It's going to be a long and boring month.
