Suzi Q samurai buggy build

Haha, no need for shocks for those beefy links
Haha yeah you like those? Nothing fancy but its what I could afford, the square tubing should be pretty strong though, I hope. I beat on my stuff pretty hard so I hope it stands up.

yea the links look beef to me, but im no expert by any means. Sami's lookin good

Its been awhile since I worked on my sami, I've been busy with work and been helping some friends on their stuff but this weekend I was able to get a little bit done. I got my lock rings painted and I mounted 2 tires on the beadlocks so now I will be able to fab up my front suspension. Here's a few pics and hopefully next weekend I will be able to work on it again.

Been working on this a little at a time been getting a little done. Got my front links tacked up they are the same length as my rear links so I can make 1 spare of each upper and lower and they can go on either front or rear.

After putting my front 2 beadlocks together I decided to make an anti coning ring for the rear 2 rims I didn't have any way to bend up the rod, so I had to weld it and bend it around a little at a time.

Got a little more done this week thanks to John (untchble) for the help on saturday. Got the lower front links and mounts done and halfway welded on and I lowered the trans mount to get a better rear driveline angle. Then with some help we got the other 2 tires mounted up and put the body onto the frame for the last time and started the dovetail to get enough clearance for the rear tires. Here's plenty of pics for your viewing pleasure.

done any more?????? been drooling over this build for like 2 years........... love it man
Been getting some metal together I got 80ft of tube for the cage so far and found somebody that could bend it for me. Now I need some square tubing for my boatsides and floor, fab that up and then take it to the guy for the cage.

This is a great looking build. Very nice. I also love the fact that your garage was previously a chicken/hog house. Cool points awarded.

Yeah old chicken house, my great grandpa actually poured the floor its only about 30 foot into it the rest of the house is still dirt. Gotta work with what ya got, thanks for the compliments and hopefully I'll be updating this again next week gonna pick up some metal finally and get to work again.
