Son made it over and had a great day! Ribs look a bit dark due to too much cherry late in the smoke, but were dead on tender and flavorful. Had a cigar while the sun set. Nice day.Ribs goin' on.

Dusted the wings w a custom rub and went for a walk w family. Got back turned and dusted for last time. Also installed the homemade jalapeño poppers.
Which created a fantastic thirst that could only be quenched with a tastey cold down easy.

Went down to the Gulf Coast of FL for a week.
Came back with 4 lbs of Royal Reds and fired up the grill tonight for some shrimp and fish tacos. Last time I talked to @trailhugger amd @shawn they were bragging about fish tacos that got me on a fish taco crave that hasn't been satiated since so....4lbs of shrimp and 3.5lbs of fresh caught Mahi and...

I brought my "camping grill" to Potts Mountain the other weekend. 
Thick pork chops with basic seasoning. Cooked a little fast but pulled them off and ate them right off of the bone.

Those look like some pretty thick chops. I buy some very thick pork chops from Costco but when I grill them they never get cooked all the way thru. I usually cut them in half now to cool thoroughly and have more.
You grilling them longer on low heat?

I think the picture makes them look thicker than they really were. The grill was on about 375-400 and they were on there maybe 15-20 minutes and I kept flipping them. They were nice and tender.

Big Green Egg doing work today.
Roasted new potatoes, habaneros, jalapenos, red chilis, squash and onions.
