i let my son wheel the wifes grand cherokee saturday at the flats cause his jeep is down and the 8.8 case decided to let go after many years of abuse.
last week we put a fresh set of 35" mtr's on it a he said they were hooking great so i guess he was right.

he felt bad and offered to pay the damages but i told him it was not his fault he done exactly what i told him to do.

You told him to break your wife's Jeep? I can hook you up with a good gear guy. LOL. But yeah. Those tires were hooking great even with high air pressure. That Jeeps works awesome.

Damn son! If your gonna break it break it good I guess. Glad you got new rubber now just watch out for sharp rocks lol

I had a similar situation. Busted a left rear axle shaft in the 14 bolt under my CUCV. Got a little wheel hop towards the end of a sled pull and when the shaft let go, I'm guessing the shock load is what made the Detroit turn in to a bomb. Luckily, I didn't hurt the carrier or the gears.
