Aight here it is folks, final scheduling and layout of how Race weekend will play out, timing of drivers meetings, registrations, times to show up etc, as well as all the info on the Rock Crawl Competition and The Big Tire/Sled Pull Competition. Wanna thank the Big Dixie Boggers again for heading up running the Rock and Pulling competition's, met up with them and got all of it squared away how they wanted to run it. As well as Lorenzo for stepping up to the plate to coordinate the 4x4cross race itself and the continued support of the rest of you nc4x4'ers such as Dylan efforts with the 4x4cross Bronco, and many others.

Also would like to take this chance to once again thank the sponsors for stepping up to the plate. First and foremost Wilson Off-road as they Keynote sponsor, Followed in no particular order by Xtreme Machines for sponsoring the Rock Crawl, East Coast Gear Supply for sponsoring the 4x4cross competition, Performance Off-road for sponsoring the Big Tire/Sled Pull Competition, and of course Galloway's for sponsoring our Complete NC Pro Mud Racing Series.

Honorable mention of course to Monster Energy Drink for Stepping up with basically everything I've asked for and more, and the rest of our fine sponsors such as Loflin Fabrication, 4 Wheel Parts, Carolina Truggies, Mudpro Metalworks, Triangle Specialty Coatings, Ace Speedway, Williamsburg Mud Racing, and of course Custom Built Racing Video's for excellent audio/video coverage.

Here's the links to all the information you need

CLASSES:
1. A Class "Stock" Class
- NO RUBICONS or other vehicles with stock front traction aids
- up to 33" tall tires
- 90% stock frame
- rear lockers OK, no front lockers
- stock type suspension, ie: if it had leaf springs stock it should have
leaf springs when you race, same with coils
- no long arm suspensions allowed
- no motor swaps
- no forced induction unless it came from the factory that way
2. B Class "Stock Mod" Class
- Rubicons or other vehicles with front traction aids start in this class
- up to 36" tall tires
- 90% stock frame
- lockers OK
- stock type suspension
- Long Arms OK

3. C Class "Modified" Class
- up to 40" tall tires
- at least 50% factory frame required - as much tube as you want
beyond that
4. D Class "Pro" Class
- Run What you brung

PAYOUTS:
- Payouts dependant on 15 entry's per class, they will be prorated for
less entry's, last year we had over 110 entry's so it shouldn't be a
problem
- Payouts will reflect up to 40% in prizes donated by sponsors 60%
cash, for example D class 1st place is $2000, so $1200 would be cash,
$800 would be prizes.
- When we say payout will reflect up to 40% we mean it could be less
depending on prizes donated by sponsors, but you will still get your
cash value, so for example if we only have enough prizes to give a 20%
prize 80% cash combo and you win D class you would then receive
$400 in prizes and $1600 in cash
- Worst case scenario we have no prizes you then would receive full
cash payout, so moral of the story, you'll get your prize $$ as listed as
long as there are 15 entry's per class
- Limit of 25 entry's per class

There was a concern that those in D class are worried about paying to enter, breaking at the KOH qualifier, then being out the entry fee for the 4x4cross.

Basically the cutoff for preregistration is May 1st, and that is also the refund cutoff date.

what I will let those who are competing in the KOH qualifier do -

You still need to preregister like normal, then if you do happen to break at the KOH and cannot compete, provide me with proof of your competing in the KOH qualifier (ie entrance fee receipt, or pics of you competing) , and a picture of the broken issue on your rig and I will give you a full refund of your entry fee (minus the Paypal 3ish % fe) as long as its not something stupid simple to fix like a broken axle/driveshaft, etc.

or if you can just show Greg (bigwoody) or Travis (tw89yj) your broken rig and verify your entrance and broken status to me that'll work too since they will be up there competing in the KOH qualifier.

No one else will get a refund beyond the May1st cutoff date only those racers that compete in the KOH qualifier and can if they provide proof of entrance and breakage

question

this sounds gay , but whatever, i will probably have females/ other spectators with me at event and want to know so i can tell them, will there be bands, etc like the past event at night time? thanks, see yall then!

May be a Dumb Question but,

Will the 4x4Cross be on the trail like last year, Or have they setup a new course?

I coming down and bringing the family and was wondering if your still going to be allow on the trails, I saw people watching last year at Rocky Mount, Just wondering if they were able to drive up there or if you have to walk it.

I went to 4x4cross site and it kinda confused me.

its are the URE stables across the street from the outpost... the race isnt in the forest this year

We built our own race track, everything has been centralized on site to make it waaay more spectator friendly. If you want to go ride the trails yu can, we are not going to be over in the forest any with our event so it will all be open for riding.

What was confusing on the site?

Well I was just looking at the pictures of the track and could not tell where that was at, Being that the race was on the trail last year, and the photos of last year had it on the trails, The map of the race area was hard to tell where it is.

Just didn't say what the plan was on or off the trails.

Why not enter the jeep and race too? Perfect way to test out your new suspension.

just be sure to kill it before crossing the line, I don't want you thinking you're gonna get any of my trophy money
