O6 Tj auto shift selinoid

Got a dear freind I need to help this week, need to replace shift selinoid in his 06 tj rubi automatic.

Any thing odd or tips before I dive In, we are also installing a trans cooler as well. I serviced it about 3 months ago, no crap at all in pan, trans is healthy. Shift selinoid quit and in 2nd gear

Do you mean the solenoid pack on top of the valve body?
If so, just drop the pan and then the valve body. It screws to the valve body.
I used to replace the entire valve body for that issue since the entire assembly was just a few bucks more.

Got the Job done today, wasnt all that bad except for that bastard little shift rod. Installed auxiliary trans cooler as well.

Went well, on the way to Mintons tomorrow for reprogram.
