I just wanted to show you guys the tire carrier that I have been working on. It will lay down like in the last picture instead of swinging out. I am still working on it but I figured I would show you all some pics to let you see how it has progressed.
Here is a side view. The bottom will actually mount on the outside of the rear bumper like in the last pic, I just havent made the mounts yet.
Here is where it will fasten on top. I will put bushings and hitch pins in here for easy revoval. These mounts will exit the top through a hole that was already there due to me not being able to zip it all of the way.
Here is the tire mount itself.
