I am looking for someone to swap the motor on my 2000 cbr600 f4... Exact motor for motor along with front forks, chain and sprockets. If i can find someone for a decent price i will have it done..if not i will start to tackle it myself. Bike is in Boone but can travel a little bit. Any advice if i do it myself? Tips? Thanks

Im sure my dad can do it. He is trying to stir up some motorcycle business at our shop in Dallas (junction of 321 and I85). He has been messing with motorcycles all his life, and is now a mechanic for AMA Team Embry Racing's Keith Marshall. PM me your number and I will have him give you a call.

Anyone else? Didn't recieve any calls...About to do it myself.

If you are decent with hand tools and understand how all these things work, you can handle it. I put a 900 motor in an F2 back in 94' which required a lot more work, but even it wasn't too bad to do.

Thats what i was thinking. I can pretty much do anything with tools, time is more of a issue but it looks like the first of next week I will just start on it myself. Thanks
