Brother in law was a truck driver. He would take rolls of material to a Champion factory in Mexico. One time the jefe was not there to sign the paperwork, but employees began unloading anyway. Language was a barrier, so eventually the BIL pulled away from the loading dock, with an employee and forklift still in the trailer. He finally got his point across, and the paperwork was finished before he returned to the loading dock.

I found that one, and over a dozen other Watterson books in the attic when we moved in February. I'm not sure there was a C&H book I didn't own in my late HS/early college years. It was a great "escape"
 
I worked at UPS unloading trucks. They would start to pull a trailer away from the hub with people still working inside at least once a shift.
Well I mean, the switchers are just sorters that had worked the sort aisle long enough to move up to a position behind the wheel of something, not ACTUAL qualified "drivers" :lol:
