Washed waxed and ready to go West once the corona breaks !

Welp, somebody must have poured something in my drink...

Ended up dragging this very lonely 01 TJ home yesterday.

NV 3350(?) swap, 4.3 Atlas, HP 30 long arms, 44 three link, 4.88s and ARBs, cromos, rusty coilovers, stretched 10”, 36” irocks w Stauns.

Been under the sellers deck for 12 yrs.

Fired it off w brake cleaner (thanks @Jody Treadway) within a couple hours of getting it home. Fuel cell was out of it. Half full of water and crap. I cleaned it today and put a new pump in and found a small leak at a seam , but it ran for the first time in 12 years.

And even though it’s beat up and needs attention, it should still have some life left in it.

Wow I thought my junk was low mileage, that's half what mine has on it.

Looks like my youngest brother caught that Jeep thing...so it was a shock to find out he was gay :flipoff2:.118,000 miles one owner, 02, clean carfax. I know nothing about jeeps, but looks relatively clean and original to me. The kid isn’t that mechanically inclined, so if anything goes wrong, I imagine it’ll be in my driveway. Anything I need to know? What says ye...

Anything I need to know?

Take a screwdriver to the bottom of the frame between the front and rear lower control arm. Stab at it like it tried to take your last bottle of blantons.

The 98-02 didnt have drains and water collects inside the frames and rots them from inside out.

If its solid I would drill a couple of 1/4 holes in the bottom to allow any water that's trapped to get out.

And if the screwdriver penetrates cry....

Pulled the 36” iroks with rim stiffeners and stauns for something to be able to zip around town. If I ever get to wheel again I’ll swap back out.

Polished my aluminum rims and hit the 35s with some tire shine. Y’all suckers at the mall better watch out...Hide yo womenz!

Got my 42s today with 12 bolt double beadlocks. Rig is pretty complete for a while.

Recently got a cage, seat, and harness mounts, and trans tunnel done for my project. Not a whole lot left to do before I can hit the trails with it, a few body pieces to address, and shaking down all the mechanicals and engine tuning. Also showcasing my new PJ 16' trailer :D
