Jacob Hayes and Kyle Regal were tied in points coming into the final weekend of AX racing. The below clip is from the second main event of the night. Jacob Hayes makes a BRUTAL take out on Kyle Regal, but it backfires on him when he busts his water pump and cannot finish the race. If you watch closely, Hayes tried to take him out by pushing him into the wall in the tunnel, but Regal bounced off the wall, kept it up, and got in front of Hayes. Regal got up, finished the race and ended up winning the 2015 AX championship.

That was nuts and a total dickbag move. Was that #800 in disguise? Its one thing to take a guys line away or square off a corner, but that was dumb. I didn't watch much AX this year but the SX season was a snooze. Lots of injuries in 450 making it less interesting. 250 was better racing IMO. Looking forward to Outdoors and hopefully a full field in both classes with some of the bigger names returning from injuries, suspensions, new rides. AC, Roczen, Canard, Pourcel, Stewart later in the season.

I was hoping to see Jimmy Decotis pull out a top 5 in points in 250E since he, Hampshire and ARod were tied coming into NJ. He took that hard slam during practice and just was never fully there. Kudos to continuing on and making the main. He could have just as easily said F that and parked it since he had just inked his deal to race for Yamaha in the Canadian Nationals.
