Good torque converter for 4L80/85E?

There's been an odd "aerating" kind of sound from mine since I've had the truck, and I think it's preventing me from getting all the power down.

Anyway, who makes a good towing converter? Not looking to break the bank, the motor is stock with just a tune on it.

I thought you had a 8.1.

I'd go back with a stock one if it were me, or just use this as an oportunity to put a cummins in it

I am probably going to do a stock style one, but am not paying GM $850 for one, either..

I do have an 8.1 - Avalanche/Suburbans get the 4L85E, as the tunnel isn't big enough for the Allison.
