We don't have any information yet on the future classes, but we need to go ahead and find out who all is interested from our group. We can have up to 2 people max certified. Keep the following in mind:

-Classes are 2 days, typically back to back (Friday and Saturday) going from 9am-4pm.
-Classes are for bucking and limbing, not felling etc.
-Must have leather gloves, long sleeve shirts, ear protection, eye protection, hard hat, and compliant chainsaw that has chain brakes & chain catches
-Forest Service will provide the chaps needed usually. If its a workday that the Forest Service isn't around for (like the light work summer days) and we come across a tree you will need to have your own.

Beyond that the big key is the people we get certified need to be regular attendees of the work days. Most work days we never know if we will come across a downed tree. And if the sawyer certified people aren't there, its kind of pointless.

I will be talking to Terry and Rodney to see when the next classes are.
