I'm in Morganton,NC. Towards the NNW there is a rhythmic pulse of light across the sky. Has approx.1/2 second intervals.
Anyone else see it or know what it is?
I personally think it's swamp gas reflecting off the ionosphere

Probably @braxton357 and @1stgenxxx having a boy dance party.

Forget Will Smith GIF

Northern lights are sometimes visible as far south as 35°

Right. This was a constant & consistent flash in the sky a mile to the right and left. My wife and son saw it one night about a month ago and came home talking about it.

If the title was “flashing by sky” I would have thought you were outside the clerb :huggy::laughing:

How far are you from Foothills regional airport ?
Many FBO still have aeronautical light beacon that is on a timer many times, sometimes activated by radio traffic on specific frequencies.

The eclipse wasnt an eclipse. It was a mother ship of the grey men coming to orbit. The flashing is the teleporting the grey men are doing to and from the mothership, as they leave the underground military installations.
