F250/350 with solid front axle.

Does any body know the range of years that Ford put the solid axle front end under the 250 and 350? Im talkin about the Pre-Superduty body syle. I like the look but Im never going to DD a Twin Traction Beam truck again.

if I am not mistaken there was only a short time in the '80s that Ford TTB'd 250s and 350s.

All the F350 trucks had a solid DD D60... the 250s had the D50 TTB

No.

F350s from 86-97 got the D60 front. 92+ are ball joint, but they're otherwise mostly the same.

F350s from 80-85 got the D50 TTB front.

The changeover might be 1/85 or something around there.... seems like it was a midyear 85 thing, but I'm not sure right now.

F250s from 80-97 got either the D44HD TTB or D50 TTB depending on front axle GVW.
