Works very well. I have installed several of their systems. Running one on my 360 now. Runs at all angles.

I would adapt the 4.0l head, manifolds, and EFI/ign to the 4.2l.

Does Howell do spark/timing these days? They didn't when I looked a few years back (7-9) and why I went TBI. IMHO, fuel only leaves too much on the table...

Based on the info in their instructions, it says no timing control. Not sure if there is another version that does. At the end of the day, it is just a GM TBI system that they program and package together.
