Dometic Freezer Door Broken

Has anybody else had issues with the flip-down door on their Dometic fridges busting the spring sockets? They're $25+ a piece, and only seem to last a few years! Has anyone come up with a better solution?

Contact Blake Harlow. He's a real good dude and can probably help. Depending on how long you've had your fridge, it sounds like that may be a warranty issue.
