CUTLERFAB SHOP THREAD

Matt, there are a lot of good builders out there, several within our area, there are also some great builders, no lie there! But you take most everything to the next level, beyond what most builder can or, will do!
I think the customers you have and will have, will be coming to you, not just to get a buggy built, but, because of the detail you put into everything!

Thanks chip

I’d like to see what he’d do with a pile oh shit xj like mine! But alimony payments stop that idea quick. Lol.

Needs more triangulation, newb.

Merry Christmas buddy. Great looking family!
I definitely need to see the triangle more often....

Thanks Jody

Hard to go wrong with a van.

Just wanted to send a New Year thank you out to all my great current and future customers.

Being a hobbyists who doesn't depend on fab as income currently, it's been a bit of an adjustment for me to do work for others. All the project's from my past were usually for myself or a close, local friend. And I want to take this opportunity to thank my current customers for their business, trust in my design and knowledge, and understanding of my time, and the struggle of trying to be the best fabricator, husband, father, and friend I can be.

I've missed many self-imposed calendar landmarks for all my current projects, but I'm always feverishly working on them in my mind as well as with my hands. Much thanks and gratitude need to go out to Sam @farmboy, Travis @tw89yj, and especially David @3DCrawler. All of these guys have been the absolute best customers: when I need something- it's on the way, always, without question (I generally only supply raw materials and fasteners, e.t.c). When time goes long, they've always been trusting of me. When I take a week or two away from the shop, I never hear a grumble. I used to think I was a fast builder, but recent years and growing OCD have proved me incorrect, lol.

Thank you again Sam, Travis and David for being who you are. It's a pleasure working on your projects and can't wait to see them all in the woods this year! It truly weighs on me to get your rigs done as timely as possible, it's always in the forefront of my mind; just ask my wife, who never gets get honey-do crafts completed by me, lol.

To all the folks that have inquired about work, I'm sorry I can't take on some of your projects in your time frame. I would like to do them all, but we all know how many hours are in a day.

To upcoming and future customers, take notes, these guys are model folks, who are patient and willing to sweat out with me, for quality fabrication.

Having seen all of what’s posted above in person recently, it’s amazing to say the least! Mind blowing really. Matt is super nice and humble.

Thanks again for fixing my fuel cell. It is back in and working like it should.

I like to see good people doing good work and building good customer relationships. My buddy has a 30 Ford sedan in the hands of a terrible builder and its been nothing but a nightmare for him. You know your limits and won't take on more than you can handle just for the sake of bringing in cash. Lot of respect for that.

Investing in myself once again... to make gains for the future of CutlerFab.

Heading to Janesville California next week to get some private one-on-one instruction with two of the (IMHO) most professional and honed tig welders out there.

Mark Winchester, aluminum extraordinaire...

And Eli Lattin, a master of tig chromoly and tubing....

As well as a second investment in my tig welding arsenal, taking advantage of the year end markdowns at Everlast, 325 amp's of muscle...

Yep, one of those are on the way as well...

My giant cart will be for sale soon!

I basically bought that exact setup, and it's the same unit I will be trained on. That photo is from Mark's setup.

Modified my old diversion cart for the 250ex and cooler. The 325 will stay at the table while the 250 will be used around the cars. My old cart was just so damn big; btw its for sale if anyone is in need.
