Well I met him on Sunday and we begin to take his ordinary XJ and install a 4.5 inch rough country lift kit . to finish it off we installed a set of soft 8's and Yokohama geolander mt's.

Yes we did this all in my driveway .
Still needs some fender trimming and other things
 
Good start to a never ending sport that he will fall in head first witch isnt a bad thing

Thanks Warren for posting these pics for me and helping me -- scratch that -- installing the lift for me. Your mad skills and many MANY tools helped make this an awesome learning experience. Like you said, time to cut some fenders along with many other things.

Latest update: The Jeep now has insurance and next week will have tags!
 
You will love those Geolanders, I've got a set on my wife's XJ and they are great.
