Brake box

Anyone know of a good place to get a brake box and have it installed in a truck, around the hickory -Lincolnton area. Need one for the ram the new trailer is killing my brakes.

Don't get a time delay brake controller, for a few bucks more you can get the Prodigy and be much safer

Dang, I didn’t know it was that simple,I thought I was going to have to cut and splice. It is worth the extra cash to get the prodigy. Thanks for the info.

yeah, it's worth it. A regular time-delay costs around $45-60, for a prodigy it's only about $100 and you get more accurate braking from the trailer that matches your truck. Basically a time-delay switches the brakes on or off, the proportional ones will gradually add power to the brakes so that they work similar to what your tow rig is doing.

I'd spend the money on a nicer one.
