6th Annual Fall- Hendrick Off-Road Center's Uwharrie OHV Jamboree and Mountain Festival
October 21, 2017

Mission Statement: “Bringing all Uwharrie off-highway vehicle (OHV) users together to aid inrecruiting volunteers and to raise awareness to ‘TREAD Lightly!’ So that the Uwharrie National Forest OHV Trail System can develop and be maintained”

We are proud to have Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Concord (Hendrick Off-Road Center) again as our Title Sponsor!

The Hendrick Jeep Uwharrie OHV Jamboree is in its fifth year. The Jamboree focuses on Central North Carolina off-road: Jeep, 4WD, ATV and ROV (Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle) groups. The Jamboree is located in the Eldorado community of Montgomery County, across the street from the Eldorado Outpost on NC Highway 109, 10 miles North of Troy.

This event is promoted by - Uwharrie Mountain Festival, (UORTC) Uwharrie Off-Road Training Center, Overland Experts, Tread Lightly!, Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Concord (Hendrick Off-Road Center), JAARS-Partners in Bible Translation, and Southern Four Wheel Drive Association.

Superwinch will be at the Jamboree! They have donated a beautiful Tiger Shark winch! This winch will be used to help us secure volunteers for maintaining the US Forest Service OHV trails at Uwharrie. Come by the USFS booth for a chance to win this awesome winch!

This year’s events include:

JAARS Helicopter Rides - Yes! We’re excited the helicopter is back. Three passengers along with the pilot lift off for a six-minute flight providing a sky view of the beautiful Uwharrie Mountain Range, lakes and river! Only $30 per person. Credit Card, Cash or Check accepted.

Grand Overland 4WD Scavenger Hunt Guided Trail Rides are approximately 2 hour trail rides ona 200 acre farm which also serves as 4 x 4 training grounds for civilians and military groups. This is designed for friends and families who want a 4WD experience that includes you driving your vehicle on 4WD trails while your passengers look for ‘finds’ that have been placed in site of the trail. An energetic guide will keep you entertained with local folklore, stories, and a stop along the Uwharrie River. $30.00 per vehicle. UORTC uses this trail system for 4WD-101 and 202 classes.

A Swap Meet as well as many booths with displays, information and items for sale will be offered. 4WD Club Booths, USFS Booth, TREAD Lightly! Booth, RTI Ramp, and many more.

JAARS 4WD Rides are approximately 30 minute FREE rides on nearby private land where an informed JAARS driver will tour you in a JAARS 4WD vehicle over the trails and through the valleys. You’ll experience firsthand some of the challenges JAARS has with logistics of getting God’s Word out to remote villages and people groups in their own language.

Confirmed Dealers/Vendors to date: Hendrick Off-Road Center, Superwinch, Mid-State Toyota, Get Ugly Customs, UORTC- Uwharrie Off-Road Training Center, Big Creek, Overland Experts and more!
