Anybody Know About RC Helicopters?

Got my son a udi u12A helio, worked great for a bit, it died, so we put it on charger. But now it acts like it is completely dead. Could battery be messed up? Bad charger?
 
what kind of battery is it? and have you ever used the charger for anything else.
 
It's a lipo
 
this may be a dumb question, but you're charger can charge lipos cant it?
 
Yes, bought new one at hobby shop
 
hmm, it could be the charger or battery like you said. But i have no idea how you could check them though
 
I've had lipos go bad for no apparent reason. But even then, they'd charge (very quickly) and would have "some" power before crapping out again.
 
Put a multimeter on the charger and make sure power is going out.
Also check the helo on the bottom/side for a very teeny tiny switch.
I have one where the switch has to be flipped to charge even though the led indicates charge.

If a lipo battery gets below a certain voltage it will not recharge. Might need a new battery and check if you can set voltage cutoff.....
