Newly rebuilt 1990 Grand Wagoneer 360 leaking coolant from rear intake bolt on passenger side. Did any of these intake bolts need to be sealed ? Or is something else going on ? Thanks in advance.

I haven't had to seal any of the intake bolts, but the valley gasket [that bastard metal thing] has to be coated with sealer, around all the ports & bolt holes. I missed something on a front bolt hole & it leaked, as I refilled the radiator. Never even fired it up! Redid my costly goof, & nothing has leaked since.

My mistake. Hadn’t had my morning coffee yet.
No worries.

He's at an event this weekend. Fairly sure he will see this and respond accordingly tonight or tomorrow. But he is the authority on the subject at hand

It should not be necessary to use sealant on those intake bolts (though I generally do). It's more likely leaking because the rear water port isn't sealed.
