A good air mattress?

I have 2 self inflating camp mattresses from REI and absolutely love them. They will insulate you from cold ground which an air mattress will not. I am 6' tall and weigh around 285 and I sleep like a big fat baby on mine My wife loves hers too.

i have a Coleman that's getting ready to go to the dump because i can't find the leak. Bought an Intrex from WalMart, gonna test it @ Kerr Lake over the weekend.

"Good air mattress" = oxymoron

Use truck mats under and on top of any decent one and it will last. Key that I have found is that if it holds air from the start you've got a decent one. I've had two new ones with leaks right out of the box.

I've been using a green "all terrain" Aerobed since I started this thread and couldn't be happier with it. I've slept on it for a wk at a time sometimes 2-3 times a yr. Usually have to add a little air after the first night likely due to it settling but absolutely no issues with and it gets used, alot.
