Choccolocco Mountain ORV Park will be hosting a Santa Crawl on December 9-11. Bring a new unwrapped child's toy (at least a $20 value) for a Weekend Pass to the park. The toys will be delivered to less-fortunate families on Christmas Day. Saturday's lunch will be provided to all who participate. The "Wide Open" hill climb event will be $20 to enter and will run two courses Saturday morning and afternoon.

News
We were saddened to hear of the total loss fire at the FOA shop while they were all in Baja. Their website states that they have already secured a new location in Las Vegas, and hope to be able to do some service work in a couple of weeks. They're not expecting to be fully up and running for about 60 days.

12 Days of NC4x4 is back for 2011!
Starting on Tuesday, December 13, at about 9pm, and continuing each day until Christmas Eve, we'll pick one name from the entry thread as the day's winner. We'll announce the winner and the prize in a separate thread. This year's entry thread will be opened on December 1.

We're not going to do it quite like the song, but each day's prize will be bigger and better than what came before!

Spectator tickets are now available for 2012 Griffin King of the Hammers.

Spectators for the 2012 Griffin King of the Hammers may now purchase tickets online and receive a $5 discount off a $20 adult admission until January 1st, 2012. The price for week-long access is $20 for ages 14 and older, $10 for ages 5-13 and free for children under the age of 5... The cost of admission gives spectators access to a week’s worth of racing via designated spectator areas as well as nightly access to entertainment inside Hammer Town. Those purchasing their entry in advance will receive wrist bands via mail providing faster entry into Hammer Town during race week.

Ten percent of the gate will be donated to the non-profit organization, Partnership for Johnson Valley, a fund to help protect OHV Land Use. The cost of admission also helps pay for additional safety considerations including security, medical personnel, sheriffs, BLM Rangers and BLM usage fees.

The 2012 Hammer Town Map, complete with street signs, garage locations and vendor row, is also available online.
