Events
The Big Dixie Boggers are hosting the Fall Rock Harvest at The Farm starting this Friday, October 28, through Sunday, October 30. Some of the Boggers shared a couple of recent photos and the rumor is, "5 way is doable on 33s if you pick a perfect line and have a short wheel base. And you can't be skeered."
This is an open event for anyone that wants to come out and entry is $10 per person for a 3-day pass, plus $10 per rig. Kids under 12 are free and there will be Trick or Treating starting at dusk on Friday.

AAIW is November 1-4, 2011, and includes the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), at the Sands Expo & Convention Center. (THE SEMA SHOW IS NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC)

ECORS at Windrock is just a week away! The ECORS folks have announced that the crew of 4x4Nation will be filming for a new upcoming series to debut this winter on Discovery Channel!
NC4x4 will be there, providing LIVE video and chat coverage of the race!

Shea Nutt and Team Soul II Sole have raised over $18,000 for the Susan G. Komen 3-day for the cure! Shea will be walking on November 5 in Dallas, TX.

The Veterans' Day Commemorative Ride is November 11 & 12 at Art Lilley Campground at Uwharrie National Forest. A group photo of retired and active duty military will be taken at 3pm on Saturday.

The 3rd Annual Rockvember Benefit Bash will be the weekend of November 18-20 at Uwharrie Stables in Troy, North Carolina. Sponsored by Wilson Off-road & Bragg4x4 Club, this is a charity event for the families of wounded and fallen soldiers. There will be a Rock Crawl, Mud Race, Big Tire 1/16 mile Pull, Grudge Pull, and the High Speed Course will be open for free riding. Entry is $20 for the weekend and includes camping.

Congratulations to Loren Healy, 2010 King of the Hammers winner, who took home first place at the Ultra4 Glen Helen Grand Prix! Over 40 competitors showed up to run a punishing five-mile course for a total of four hours. By the end of the time limit, only ten vehicles were still running under their own power.

Congrats to Ultra4 Series Champion Shannon Campbell! Second place in the series went to Ben Napier and 3rd place to Dean Bulloch. The 2012 Ultra4 season will kick off on February 3, with the always-action-packed week in Johnson Valley. The week culminates in the sixth running of the Griffin King of the Hammers on Friday, February 10th. here.
