To celebrate the upcoming opening of the UNF trails on March 30, and bring all Uwharrie OHV users together, Scott and Chris Cagle, owner of the Eldorado Outpost, are hosting the First Annual Uwharrie Jamboree.
The event will include a swap meet, a 5K Run/Walk at nearby Montgomery Community College, and an Open House at a new private wheeling property nearby called 'Uwharrie's Edge.'
There will be a fairly large trade show with booths from vendors such as Bass Pro Shops, John Deere, RS Braswell (a Bobcat dealer), World Class Powersports Polaris, used Jeep dealer NC Automotive Inc., and Hendrick Chrysler-Jeep.
NC4x4 will be there, as will ECORS and many of the region's 4x4 clubs such as CNC4x4, TTJ, CORE, CTB, NAXJA, Zuwharrie and Carolina Jeepsters. The North Carolina Air National Guard will have Humvees on display and Tread Lightly! will hold demonstrations.
The Uwharrie Outdoor Training Center is located at 4021 NC Highway 109 North, Troy, NC 27371. Come out and have a good time! The trails at Uwharrie National Forest open for the season at 10am on Friday, March 30!
