Hey y’all I need some help with the wheel cylinders on my 1973 gmc k-25, i try putting them on but it’s like they’re too wide; the rubber edges run into those angled pieces of metal.
I got the raybestos one with the yellow plug and cat quest one with the red plug for non-hd brakes but neither fit.
I’m pretty sure I am missing what goes into the ends of the wheel cylinder, the brakes were seized with rust/grease so I had to remove the hub first then mutilate all the hardware to get the drum off.

It's gotta be flipped from that pic so the bleeder goes on top first off. This guy has a good vid that may help.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve seen Tyler’s videos before lol, after viewing it I figured out I had to push in the rubber end caps and now the rasbestos one fits!

Do any of y’all know a part number for the brake shoe to wheel cylinder link? Or wheel cylinder push pin if you call it that

Hell yeah! I appreciate it
