I have 3 locking drawers that were mounted in cop cars for quick , secure , discreet access to a carbine. They have to be mounted on the top or side mounted. They are actuated when 12 volt is supplied to a solenoid and a gas strut pushed the drawer apart. They are sturdy and in good shape. Would be perfect for quick access to that truck gun you keep justifying.
