BigClay's TJ

After mounting the 35" SX2s and getting them on the jeep, I have decided I need to do one of two things:
1) I need to go to 37" tires
2) i need shorter spring

Haha, these tires look small with the new fenders

What springs are you running?

I honestly dont know, theu were on there when i bought the jeep. I am thinking they are 4", and I have out a 1" body lift on so I want to go down to 3" springs

I didn't think yours was that tall. Mine has that same tiny tire look with the metalcloak's.

They may be 3" springs but the 35s look so small with the new fenders. Are those metal cloak's high line?

It's basically flush with the bottom of the hood. Not a hi-line by definition but fairly close.

TJ coil spring lengths:

Sounds like you need to order yourself some 2.5" Rough Country springs.

I think you may be right, would give me a better control arm angle too

I would wait to lower that thing. You may want to reserve all of the wheel well space. Rubbing/slicing tires fawking sucks.

Damn TJ owners bitchin about their bolt on fenders :D

Very true, if it isn't raining this weekend, going to take her out for the maiden voyage

oh and don't have frame envy :flipoff2:

After recommendations from a few of you on here, picked up a 2.5lb and 5lb Amerex fire extinguisher for the jeep. 5lb mounted in the back and 2.5lb will be between driver and oassenger on the roof cage.
