On July 31 this year I retired. Middle of August I get a letter in the mail stating that my ex-wife gets 40% of my retirement before taxes. This is all do to a law passed in 1982 called the Uniformed Services Former Spouses Protection Act. Basically retirement pay is called retainer pay and if you were married 10 years in the service the ex-spouse can get up to 50%. The federal law makes your pay joint property. So out of my $1651 a month before taxes she gets $691. Sound fair? Add in that I also have to pay her $1000 child support and now I am negative on the retirement. Thats almost $1700 a month from me. Basically she gets $21000 a year from me. That's Minimum Wage and she is remarried to a guy in the Army now.

If you think it is unjust and this only targets the military you can help change the law by signing the petition and passing the word along. Here is a link to the petition.

No B.S., this is one of the nicest YJ's I have seen in a while. rebuilt 4.2 with newer weber carb. Warn Black Diamond Lift installed right. 5 speed, FACTORY A/C!!, posi lock conversion. No rust at all, rhino lined floorboards, CD and soundbar, new bestop seats, top, and locking console(nice). Looks to be original paint in awesome shape(islander sticker on hood is faded). 31" all terain on pacer black wheels. This jeep drives as good as it looks and it looks good! Drives straight on the highway at 75mph. Showing 180K, but it looks like it has 60K on it. Clean and clear title. You will have a hard time finding a nicer YJ anywhere. $4675 cash, NO TRADES PLEASE!!!

I need to put a cage in my wifes jeep. Currently it has a cage but no provision for a rear seat. I've got a mastercraft 36" bench seat to put in the rear for my daughter. I would need to redo the cage to fit it and a fuel cell behind it. Does anyone have any pictures of a nice looking 4 seat cage in a CJ/YJ/TJ that doesn't look like a square box? The worst this thing would ever see would be a hard flop, it's a crawler not a baller, so I doubt I need some super badass overkill cage, but it does need to be safe. I've just seen very few 4 seat cages that look nice....anyone got pictures of some they like so I can get some ideas?
