my 5.13's finally came in!! Is there anywhere in the Raleigh area that i can pick up an install kit?

I have some pinion shims. All out of crush sleeves, tho. That guy out by the airport had some the last time I needed one in a pinch.

oh yea, i forgot about that place. What is the equation to find the gear ratio by counting the teath? I wanna double check to make sure they really are 5.13.

your gear ratio is 5.13:1 or ring gear(/)pinion gear just count and divide..

haha, thought it would be something simple like that. I just want to double check since i got them off ebay.

It's a little late to do it today, but there are lots of guys (CRS/PORC/DC4wd/MAD/etc) that stock this stuff, and can have it on your doorstep the next day. Make a couple of calls on Thursday morning, and have the parts delivered on Friday afternoon. It's easy like pie.

thanks, school and work make me brain dead. im ready to get my truck back on all fours so it doesnt have to be sitting on a sketchy saw horse anymore.
