Been doing alot of shopping since the wreck and its down to either the Ford FX4 F150 or the Nissan Titan king cab due to the deals I've been offered. Ford I know offers a leveling kit for the front end and Nissan does also. My question is though in with sticking to my IFS tacoma roots and doing things right the first time does anyone know of a kit that is offered in the form of coil springs not coil spacers like OME has for the tacomas. And before anyone starts this its a D44 in the back of that nissan your gonna blow the crap out of it saga I don't care to hear it, if it blows it has warranty and if that's not sufficient I'll go another route. :flipoff2: Right now I'm looking for info on leveling kits and even on the Nissan forums spacers seem to be the ticket

I vote go for the Titan, but then I'm an Import only guy. (worked on one too many domestics for my taste to EVER buy one). The aftermarket will come out with more stuff in the future for the titan and will be a better truck from the word go. Just my biased .02 :D

I have a Titan and echo the setiments above. Towed and no issues yet.
Josh, go to http://www.titantalk.com/forums/index.php look in the vendors section near the bottom of the page, some guy named Greg has a levelling kit which a lot of Titan owners rave over. Not my bag but then each to there own...........

Been there done that Brit. Like I said whatever I end up with I'm trying to stay away from coil spacers. I would rather have lift coils like Old Man Emu's if I can find something like that. If not and I do end up with the Titan I guess I'll be going with the PGR leveling kit

Man the prices are so close its a tough choice. I'm leaning towards the Nissan just b/c of the better warranty right now but whos to say what will change my mind in what I get.

You know I am biased. :D

Fuel for thought.....

A big part of Nissan is owned by Renault. A French company. I personally don't like doing business with French/German/Chinese companies since because they support rogue/terrorist nations such as Iran and the former Iraq. I buy Japanese and American products if possible. I was personally gonna buy a X-terra but the French ownership killed it for Nissan. My 2 biased cents. ;)

But there again the Titan is assembled right here in the good ole USofA giving jobs to American workers..........Canton Mississippi I believe which employs 4000+/-. The only major part (transmission) is made in Japan most all other parts are made here......;)

Planning on towing?.......I deceided not to go the levelling route because once my trailer and the heep are hooked up and the tongue weight takes its effect it levels it nicely for a smooth and safe ride in my opinion........

Do you watch the news? read any perhaps? I am very conservative in my politics and also a political science major, but i have to disagree with you. Where have you seen france and germany and china supporting terrorists? And individual examples of waaay back are stupid to bring up because we have done those mistakes...now im even a lil anti france myself and all that but seriously get ur facts straight...

HIJACK ON!

If this is the case then where is their for us in The War On Terrorism support? I thought Germany and France were NATO partners. France is scared to support us because of their large percentage of Muslim population. When our boys liberated their sorry asses in WW2 we did not worry religion. When we need them where the hell are they? Germany is concerned about where their next dollar is coming from in the Middle East plus it is cool to down the USA in Germany. I won't support either unless I have no choice. When you buy a car/truck you are getting a mutt anyway. There is German/French/Chinese parts in all of them today. I would buy American, British, Australian or Japanese first. ;)

HIJACK OFF!

Sorry Josh.
