WE Rock is drumming up support for an East Coast Put Up or Shut Up in Dayton, TN on April 9-11, 2010. Tech and Registration will be Friday night from 4pm to 8pm. The competition will run Saturday and Sunday.
This will be a “run what you brung” format. Competitors will run four courses each day with the top six finishers qualifying for the shootout.

Carolina Backwoods is hosting a charity ride on December 5th at their park in Ash, NC, near Myrtle Beach. It will run from 9am to 9pm, and include a poker run, mud bog, hill climb, grudge race, and hide and seek. Events are mostly geared towards 4×4s and ATVs, but everyone is welcome.
There will be an entrance fee of $10 per rig and $5 per person. Participation in the poker run will cost you $15, and other events are $5 each. Proceeds will benefit the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The Capital City Four Wheelers are holding their annual salt water fishing tournament on the Outer Banks the weekend of October 17 -18, 2009.
Proceeds go to benefit the club’s activities and usually a Hatteras Island charitable need as defined by island leaders.
Registrations made before October 1 get a free t-shirt.

Carolina Crawlin has posted the competition schedule for the 2009 WEROCK Southeast Regional Championship Series. Held on a man-made course at the fairgrounds in Spartanburg, SC, this four event series is a qualifier for the 2010 All Stock Nationals in Hannibal, MO.
There will also be a non-points demo during the fair weekend. This is a great chance for racers to meet fans and promote the series.

The Bay to Blue Ridge Cruisers will hold their Fall Crawl at Rausch Creek on October 2-3, 2009. Among the weekend’s events is a raffle to benefit the UFWDA.
In the past, this event has been for Toyotas only, but in order to attract more people to help out the UFWDA, they’re opening it up to all makes and models of rigs.

The Right Coast Racing Association has a big weekend planned at Golden Mountain OHV Park.
On October 16-18, 2009, they will hold a series of races in the park. Friday features flat track four wheeler and motorcycle races and enduro cross heat races for motorcycles, four wheelers, and side-by-sides. Starting at 10AM on Saturday, there will be barrel races and rock races for buggies, and the final showdowns for each of the Friday night races. The show’s not over on Sunday. They’ll have a 10-12 mile endurance race for buggies running on the park’s trail network.

The East Coast Off-road Racing Series has announced their first event. On October 10, 2009, the series will head to Callalantee ATV for a three-class race. There will also be a Rock Crawling competition on Saturday.

Registration is officially open for the Carolina Trailblazers annual Fun Caravan at Uwharrie National Forest. The event runs from September 11 – 13, 2009, and will include a poker run and field games.

The 23rd Annual SFWDA Dixie Run will be held October 2 – 4, 2009 at the Golden Mountain OHV Park near Sparta, TN. In previous years, this event has been held at Tellico OHV in Murphy, NC, but was relocated this year due to the continuing closures at Tellico.

Callalantee OHV Park will host the 3rd Annual Toys for Rocks charity ride on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Donate one new unwrapped toy and Callalantee will waive trail fees for the day. Proceeds benefit the children of Johnson County, Tennessee.
